Enhancements and Fixes (Build #8183 and Higher)
Tape Import
- Ability to import LTFS tapes created by third-party archive solutions into DNA Evolution catalog
- Users can choose the Import to be done with or without checksum verification
- DNA Evolution catalog Archive is created and supports search and restores similar to a native DNA Evolution Archive
- NOTE: Feature ONLY supports LTFS-formatted tapes and DOES NOT support creation of clips or extraction of extended metadata (No MAM capabilities are supported for imported tapes/archives)
Tape Duplication
- Added command line bulk tape duplication tool; instructions available online on support or in the “DNA Evolution 3.0: Administrator Guide”
Discovery Channel Delivery Enhancements
- Added the ability to create Discovery Channel content delivery tapes (program masters, graphics masters or footage masters)
- Improved metadata tagging and error checking
- Instructions available in the “DNA Evolution 3.0: Workflow Guide for Discovery Channel Specifications”
CatDV Reverse Workflow
- New CatDV reverse workflow for fastest import and update of CatDV archives
- Vastly improves CatDV ingest time and archive performance
Avid Interplay Enhancements
- Added new Interplay features including on-demand restore tickets, Interplay archive report generation and master clip restore from the DNA Evolution Search Clips tab
- Added ability to perform multi-resolution archives
- Added ability to update and correct Interplay clips after archiving
AAF and Conform Support (Linux)
- Added AAF parsing for Linux archive manager
- Added conform for Linux
DCP Support
- Added DCP support for archiving
- Added DCP clip intelligence with metadata extraction
Cross Browser Support
- Added ability for cross browser support
- Support for latest versions of the following browsers on appropriate platforms: Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari
